Terms of Service
1. Purpose
These terms cover your use of KoFest ("the service").
2. What the service is
- The service collects and presents information about festivals and travel destinations in Korea.
- The source is public data published by the Korea Tourism Organization.
- We do not organise festivals, and we are not involved in ticketing, reservations or refunds.
3. Accuracy
We refresh the data daily but cannot guarantee it is correct.
- Dates, venues and fees may change or be cancelled by the organiser.
- The source data may contain errors or be out of date.
- Always check the organiser's official announcement before travelling.
We are not liable for losses arising from inaccurate information. If you spot an error, please tell us and we will look into it.
4. Cost
The service is free. We will give notice before introducing anything paid.
5. Prohibited use
- Automated bulk collection of data
- Repeated requests that interfere with the service
- Reverse engineering, copying or redistributing the service
- Anything that infringes others' rights or breaks the law
If you need the festival data, you can obtain it directly from data.go.kr.
6. Intellectual property
- The layout, design and editorial content of the service belong to us.
- Festival information and photographs belong to the Korea Tourism Organization and the original creators. See Data source & copyright.
7. Changes and interruptions
- The service may change without prior notice.
- It may be interrupted by maintenance, faults, or the source data becoming unavailable.
- If we shut the service down entirely, we will give at least 30 days' notice.
8. Saved items
Saved festivals are stored only on your device. They are not backed up to a server and are lost if you delete the app or change devices.
9. Advertising
The service may display advertising. We are not responsible for the content of advertisements or for your dealings with advertisers.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
